Quality Management according to DIN ISO 9001:2015
Quality is a core element of everything we do and the foundation of our long-term business success. Our Quality Management System provides the necessary framework, ensuring clear responsibilities and transparent processes throughout the entire value chain.
We view the continuous development of our company as an ongoing responsibility. A key instrument in this effort is our Continuous Improvement Process (CIP). Through the systematic analysis of data, experience, and customer requirements, we identify opportunities for improvement, optimize processes, and continuously enhance our products and services.
The quality of our products, reliable delivery performance, customer-focused service, and collaborative, trust-based partnerships are key characteristics of successful customer relationships. These principles form the foundation of our position as a dependable and long-term business partner. Annual customer satisfaction surveys provide valuable insights into how our performance is perceived and whether we meet our customers’ expectations. The consistently positive ratings and feedback reaffirm our commitment to these standards.
The effectiveness of our Quality Management System is continuously monitored and regularly assessed by independent auditors. Certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 confirms the systematic approach applied to our processes and underscores our commitment to the highest quality standards, efficient operations, and sustainable customer satisfaction.
Energy Management according to DIN EN ISO 50001: 2018
Sustainability, energy efficiency, and the responsible use of resources are integral components of our corporate strategy. Since 2016, INGENERIC has operated a certified Energy Management System in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 for the development and production of micro-optics, optical systems, and laser systems.
A key focus of our sustainability strategy is the continuous reduction of energy consumption in production and the expansion of renewable energy sources. Through state-of-the-art, energy-efficient manufacturing processes and targeted improvement initiatives, we systematically reduce both our resource consumption and carbon footprint.
The effectiveness of these measures is reflected in tangible results. Through optimized air volume management in our production areas and the targeted recovery of waste heat from compressors, we achieve annual electricity savings of 183,297 kWh compared to our 2020/21 baseline year. In fiscal year 2025/26, we reduced our CO₂ emissions by 101 tonnes (-89%) relative to the baseline year. Since June 2026, our 141 kWp photovoltaic system has been in operation and is expected to generate approximately 112,000 kWh of renewable electricity per year.
By 2030, we are targeting annual efficiency improvements of 3% for gas/oil consumption and 1.5% for electricity consumption. These targets have already been achieved today. In doing so, we make a measurable contribution to climate protection and the conservation of natural resources while providing our customers with micro-optics and optical systems that are manufactured using climate-friendly and resource-efficient processes.
